ICNS 2017

The 2019 Integrated Communications Navigation and Surveillance (ICNS) Conference addresses long-term research and development of integrated CNS technologies for advanced aeronautical digital information systems and applications supporting the future global air transportation systems. It will take place on April 9-11, 2019 at Westin Washington Dulles Airport, Herndon, Virginia, USA.

Jointly sponsored by government and industry, the ICNS Conference assembles national and international government and industry leaders to address important policy issues with technical experts and thought leaders. The focus is on understanding CNS programs, plans, research and technology, and other relevant issues impacting aviation modernization.

The WiMAX Forum will be at ICNS 2019!

AeroMACS presentations will take place at the ICNS Conference.

- Plenary III Part 1: Future Communications Infrastructure Status

On Thursday, April 11 at 8:15 am a panel of experts participating in future infrastructure design and development will provide status updates on ongoing work areas such as new technologies — including SATCOM, LDACS and AeroMACS and the internet protocol suite for aviation (ATN/IPS) — and will address spectrum usage and future plans.

- Technical sessions

On Tuesday, April 9 at 1:00 - 3:00 pm "AeroMACS Design for Logan International Airport (BOS)" will be presented by Leonhard Korowajczuk at CelPlan Technologies.

On Tuesday, April 9 at 3:30 - 4:00 pm the WiMAX Forum will present "AeroMACS: Standardized Solution Enabling Secure Connectivity Worldwide at the Airport Surface." 

On Thursday, April 11 at 1:00 - 1:30 pm "AeroMACS and UAV – Two Sides of the Same World for Single Goal" will be presented by the WiMAX Forum Board of Directors, Paolo Troyer, Product Manager for Civil ATC Communications at Leonardo.
